Second final table this month - 4th in Big8.80 for $1128.40

After the 7th place in Saturday Splash 2.20 rebuy 100k GTD 2 weeks ago, yesterday I made another final table. It was one of my greatest play ever and I'm very proud of my performance.
All was good until I make 2.9mill of chips sitting 2/9 on the final tale. In the beginning I had really hard time sitting with 430 chips on level 20-40 but survived and built up my stack up to 2.9 mill for 9 hours play.
The key moment where I lost my chances to win the tournament was when I firstly lost 99 vs QQ shortstack, then lost JJ

At first, sorry to my non-bulgarian followers for this post - it targets my bulgarian friends. The text below is Bulgarian.

Малко късно го обявявам, но надявам се, че ще има заинтересувани.
Искам да изкажа подкрепа на моя непознат приятел Иво (mansity-2) в борбата му за национален треньор на U-20 Bulgaria в играта Hattrick.

Понеже искам да бъде обвързано и с добра инициатива - част от това, което ще направя ще отиде за благотворителност.

Какви са детайлите на моето предложение:

1. Както знаете аз съм покер играч, при това смятам че нелош покер играч. През м. Юли и м. Август аз ще изиграя 20 покер турнира с вход $16.50 или обща инвестиция от $330 (т.нар. покер банка)

2. Целта ще е да спечеля колкото може повече.

3. Какво всъщност предлагам? Да участвате в разпределението на наградния фонд. Понеже целта е все пак да помогна на mansity-2, ОФЕРТАТА ВАЖИ САМО АКО ТОЙ ПОЕМЕ ПОСТА.

Как ще стане цялата работа?

А/ Първите спечелени от наградни фондове на турнирите $330 покриват входовете за турнирите (т.е. първоначалната инвестиция)
Б/ Печалбата (спечеленото от наградни фондове над $330) ще бъде разпределено както следва:
- 70% за мен
- 20% благотворителност - сумата ще бъде дарена на дом за сираци (зная кой точно, но няма нужда да си правя някаква реклама, при положение че рибата е още в реката). Ако сумата за дарението е под 100 лева, аз ще добавя разликата и ще преведа минимум 100 лева.
- 10% ще бъдат разпределени между тримата победители в Hattrick-игра между ВСИЧКИ мениджъри, АКО mansity-2 бъде избран за треньор. Разпределението за наградния фонд ще бъде в съотношение 50%:30%:20% между първите трима в класирането. Играта ще бъде уточнена допълнително, може да бъде и играта, която Иво Стоянов организира за купата.

Е, остава само да изберете mansity-2 за треньор. Аз ще се погрижа за това да има доволни от избора, а той ще се погрижи да сте удовлетворени, като спечели Световното. :)

Давам само пример. Ако направя финална маса на турнир и взема примерно $3330 от наградни фондове, разпределението ще бъде:

$330 покриват таксите за участие.
$2100 са моята печалба от турнирите
$600 са дарение (благотворителност)
$300 са наградния фонд за Hattrick-играта, като разпределението ще бъде $150 за първо място, $90 за второ място и $60 за трето място.

+ДОПЪЛНИТЕЛЕН БОНУС
По време на изборите, ще изиграя в три дни турнири както следва:

ДНЕС, 11.06.2012 - Big11 от 21:00 БГ време с награден фонд $75000

СРЯДА, 13.06.2012 - Big11 ($75000) и $3rebuy ($25000) (вторият започва от 21:30)

ЧЕТВЪРТЪК, 14.06.2012 - Big22 ($50000), Big11 ($75000), $3rebuy ($25000) (Big22 започва от 19:00)

(Ако има възможност, ще обявя оферта и за събота и неделя)

Та 10% от печалбата от тези турнири (след покриване на инвестицията) ще бъде разпределена между тези, които са ми пратили лично съобщение че са ГЛАСУВАЛИ ВЕЧЕ за mansity-2
Пак уточнявам, че парите ще бъдат изплатени, ако mansity-2 стане треньор. Т.е. ако спечеля днес да речем $15000 за първо място и трябва да си поделите $1500, то трябва да се молите (или да помагате) mansity-2 да вземе поста :)

Забележка - ако сте гласували в понеделник (и сте ми изпратили лично съобщение в Хеттрик) - участвате и за трите дни, ако във вторник - за следващите 2 и т.н.

My first Royal Flush after 9 years in PokerStars

Today I am planning to play 7 tournaments, including 5 micro million events (main event, 400k, 100k, 75k and the action hour), the bigger $11 and one regular 10k gtd.

Grind is back

It was about a year when I used my blog to put something. I am thinking to recover my idea to put how my poker career is going on.

I am not going to play late night tournaments tonight because I'm feeling tired for longer session.

QQ called last - brave boy.

Lucky double up 4550 chips 50-100 blinds

Had 73dd and limpers. I'm sb, and called. Flop gave me straight draw, river added flush draw. I bet - the guy called. I moved all-in on the turn and he shown... AJdd. OMG he is Ace high but erased my flush draw. River gave me 3 and I won the hand weeee.

Lucky! But I needed it. Gonna try to smash them all.

Monday, 2010-08-23 brief update

Had good early session today in the casino and finished my $1/$2NL play with $185 profit after about 3 hours of play.

I am going to play online tournaments before next session in PokerStars.
Played one tournament $22 freezout 20k guaranteed, quick up to 3500 after the start then JJ were cracked by flush and then K6 guy made runner runner vs my QQ. Unlucky.

Playing another $22 freezout at the moment - the 1pm 12,5k guaranteed. After first two levels I'm with 2955 chips (3000 starting).

Cash game $1/$2NL live

Yesterday I played $1/$2NL in local casino.
Actually I have good results in this casino, because more than 60% of the players on the table are regular gamblers and the game against them is easy.

Previous day I had about $215 profit, but in the end missed to grow it up. I had KK and lost huge $330 pot vs QQ - the guy hit Queen on the turn.

Yesterday I started good, until I got KK again. The guy on my right raised $16 and I re-raised him $35. He called. Flop was JT3 and when I bet 45, he went all-in. Pot was $360. I called and he shown Q9. Immediately 8 run gave him straight and drawing death for me.

I made rebuy $200 and played over 3 hours. I was very patient to choose the hands where to play and until the end of the session I didn't lose any showdown (WOW).

At the end I had $440 for $40 profit. Actually I felt good in the end of the session.

In two days I won about $250 but missed to grow up them with another about $700 because of bad luck.

But the most important was that I kept my calmness and played good poker.
